TONE AND TEXTURE

This home was designed with tons of rich and warm, dark desert tones, which creates a dramatic aesthetic in every room. The front living room features a floor to ceiling fireplace finished with a plaster technique and taupe-colored marble. The kitchen is bright and inviting. An asymmetrical entertaining island sits in the middle with a terrazzo-patterned quartz countertop with a waterfall edge. We continued the same plaster finish in the kitchen as well, wrapping it around the hood box, and painted the existing cabinetry a light greige. The rift white oak cabinetry is all new cabinetry, giving the kitchen a new spirit. The powder bath features a radius floating cabinet, custom mural (hand drawn by us) featuring the dominant colors throughout the home - nude, gray and black - as well as asymmetrical pendant lighting. The primary bath is a true testament to the impact you can make on a space with just cosmetic changes. The textured floor tile gives a clean and minimal look that is warmed up by the rift white oak cabinetry. The arched mirrors play on the home's original Tuscan architecture.

Another fun surprise with this project is that our client's did not originally hire us to furnish any of the adjacent living rooms. With that being said, during our last week of the renovation, our client's asked if there was anything we could do to elevate those rooms. Two days before the install, we sourced furnishings, art, rugs and decor locally. On the final reveal day, we fully set up these rooms and blended them with some of their existing furnishings and they were speechless!
